DJI Matrice 400

Expanding into Niche Scenarios Such as Maritime Operations: Technological Innovation Further Broadens the Frontiers of Drone Applications

Since 2013, DJI has applied drone technology to various industrial sectors—spanning public safety, clean energy, geospatial information, water conservancy and environmental protection, and forestry—delivering enhanced productivity to users. With the introduction of the new Matrice 400, featuring innovative capabilities such as ship-based takeoff and landing, automated power grid line-crossing simulation, and automated inspection of conductors and ground wires, DJI continues to deepen its penetration into specialized industry scenarios and expand the frontiers of drone application.

Hardcore Safeguards for Safe User Flight: Endurance, Obstacle Avoidance, and Image Transmission Technologies Receive a Major Upgrade

Across core drone technology domains—including flight endurance, obstacle avoidance, and image transmission—the Matrice 400 elevates the technical standard of industry-grade flagship flight platforms to an entirely new level. Even when carrying a payload, the Matrice 400 maintains exceptional flight capabilities, boasting a forward flight endurance of up to 59 minutes and a hover time of up to 53 minutes. Furthermore, it can effectively avoid large obstacles—such as buildings and terrain—while flying at speeds of up to 25 meters per second, making it a reliable asset for prolonged, continuous operations in fields such as search and rescue, firefighting, and large-scale surveying.

Reshaping Intelligent Operations: "New-Quality Productive Forces in the Air" Gather Momentum to Empower

Features such as thermal imaging-based object detection and AR projection are also key highlights of the Matrice 400 launch. The Matrice 400 can detect and count targets—such as vehicles and vessels—using both visible light and thermal cameras, and supports the integration of third-party detection models to expand its range of application scenarios. It also features Ultra-HD Matrix Detection, capable of identifying up to 1,000 targets within a single image, thereby facilitating large-scale target detection, counting, and density analysis with ease.

Opening Up Platform Capabilities and Building a Diverse Ecosystem: Bringing "Low-Altitude+" to Every Industry

The Matrice 400 can simultaneously carry up to seven payloads; its third gimbal mount boasts a maximum load capacity of 6 kg. The airframe features four built-in external E-Port V2 interfaces, allowing for seamless switching between single and dual downward-facing gimbal configurations, while also supporting a third gimbal mount located on the aircraft's underside. To address diverse mission requirements, the Matrice 400 leverages its robust payload capacity to accommodate official DJI gimbal cameras, spotlights, loudspeakers, Manifold 3 onboard computers, or third-party payload devices. This capability comprehensively expands the drone's aerial operational scope, enabling it to effortlessly meet the demands of various scenarios and fully unlock the potential of the DJI ecosystem.
